This is one of my favourite dimsum place since high school. Located strategically at the high end mall of Central Jakarta, they fortunately serve great dimsum, making long waiting lists on Sundays at lunch hours. But don’t worry, there are seats in case you need to queue.
Here’s a list of what I ordered: Panggang Roti isi Cha Siu (40.8k), Tim “Siew Mai” isi Udang dan Babi (40.8k), Pangsit Udang Goreng Mayonaise (40.8k), Tim Pangsit Udang “Har Kau” (42.8k), Tim Cakar Ayam dengan Saus Lada Hitam (36.8k), Tim Paikut dengan Saus Tausi (36.8k), Onde-Onde isi Kacang Merah (30.8k), and Pao isi Telor Asin Manis (39.8k). It’s hard to review one by one when most are delicious 😱 their dimsum is so legit you find everything perfectly sized and in proportion with the filling. When you bite their siew mai, to exemplify, you’ll actually see a legitshrimp. In terms of taste, everything was how I would like them to be. One thing that stood out was the first pic - panggang roti isi cha siu or baked pork bun. This pork bun was bigger than the quintessentially famous Tim Ho Wan’s version. The taste and texture was also a match to the Michelin Star dimsum 😋😘 When you don’t have the time to go to Hongkong, come come my friend, and join the joy at Taste Paradise.
Two things I wish were better are their paikut which had less meat and more bones, and also their salted egg custard bun which could have had more and runny/molten salted egg filling. That’s all. In the last pic you can see the complimentary dessert I was delighted to receive because it was refreshingly acidic.
Their service was also great, perhaps used to dealing with judgemental aunties and demanding elites. Yes, you’ll see some of them around dressed up decently (not formally) with their big hairdos and high heels.

At this roller coster economy, all I can suggest you is to create a comfort food business. Ga perlu bikin yang konsep mahal karena kembali lagi orang akan consider makanan yang comfort dan harganya terjangkau. Target market kamu pun semakin besar dan menjangkau semua kalangan. Work smart not hard.

Saat perayaan Imlek, restoran ini pun punya sajian special Yusheng yang kerap jadi tradisi dalam sesi makan bersama menyambut Imlek. Disajikan sempurna antara homemade Chinese crepes dengan kulit bebek crispy yang dipanggang sempurna, pasti bikin lidah dan perut kamu bahagia. Hmm, udah ngiler belum nih guys?
