I've been curious with Indonesian food lately, thus decided to try one of this north Sumatra's food at @theatjeh_connection
This is the famous Ayam Tangkap dish, originated from Aceh. Its a deep fried chicken along with spices, pandan leaves, koja leaves; as you could see from the picture.
The chicken slightly dry but the good side is the spices infused well into the chicken. Intenionally, the leaves are covering the whole dish, as it presents as dry vegetable. The leaves crispy just like a cracker.
