Soto mie is a common noodle soup found in West Java, it consist of egg noodle, beef cubes (sometimes pieces of offals), slices of cabbage in a clear beef broth. Soto Mie Srengseng is special because it has a delicious soup, thick with beef broth.
What makes soto mie distinctive is the spring rolls. You can eat it dry and crispy or dip it in the soup, letting it soak up all the flavour from the soup...yummy!
Add some fried shallots, lime juice, sweet soy sauce, some chilli sauce and emping. Enjoy while it still hot.
