Saya sempat menikmati Demi Glace Omurice, Hamburg Demi Glace, Hamburg Mushroom Pepper with Truffle Oil, Kani Creme Korroke dan Metaiko Tamagoyaki.
First time here, and no regrets! I tried their suggestion which is the truffle mushroom pepper hamburg. Well prepared (but it took a while for them to prepare), and the hamburg was excellent. Also tried their yaki cheese katsu curry and it was awesome. They also provide good coffee from Tanamera. Overall it was a very nice first time experience here. The only thing they need to improve is their service, which I am sure they will get better in no time.
Mottomoo reminds me of a Japanese restaurant I used to visit when I was studying as a student in Australia. A super chill ambiance, friendly service, comfort delicious food... A restaurant where I can just go and visit whenever I'm confused where to eat. I've tried most of the dishes here, but my favorite are the Soyu Pasta, Hamburg Gratin, OmuRice! Plus, met with the rockstar Chef from Kichi Kichi in Kyoto! Super artsy celebrity chef and found out he's the guy behind the creation of Mottomoo dishes. No wonder!
Firstly, the name is interesting; it makes me curious to try. The menus were sufficient - not too little, not too much. They were interesting and when I finally tasted them, yes they were delicious (or maybe because all my orders were the recommended ones, hahaha). The menus are kinda unique, so why not try it, eh? The ambience was so-so, and the service was quite good. Overall, it was a nice restaurant.
