At Marché Plaza Senayan you can delight in the various European dishes, which are pork-free, freshly cooked in front of your eyes.Enjoy these dishes in an authentic Swiss Village setting, 500 years’ old Swiss Mountain Houses, cable cars, and original antiques transported from Switzerland and painstakingly installed by hand in the restaurant by a team of Swiss craftsmen. The stunning two levels architecture comes complete with a cascading alpine waterfall and a large screen showing Switzerland’s scenery. The children can enjoy a special play area called the ‘Heidi House’, named after the famous character of the Swiss children’s story. Special ‘Picky Meals’ and games are also available for them.
If you are the type to instagram or snapchat your dining experience, this place is not for you!! They have a rule (despite not having signages) that you cannot take photos of the restaurant. I understand that this is perhaps to protect their intellectual property or for privacy of customers but the way we were told was very RUDE. You know the feeling when employees are miserable and their only way to feel good about themselves is to powertrip? I even received some photography lessons from their staff on having an "object" on photography by pretending to take selfies. Only selfies are allowed.
Management of Marche, if you are reading this, you need to rehire your staff at your GI branch!
On food, it was nothing spectacular. Nothing to be raved about. The food lacks flavor and is poorly plated. We had the sausage and the savory crepe.
Before going in, we were actually wondering why the place is empty, now we know why!
