Excellent Food and Service in 80's Decor Restaurant
I found that my beef yakiniku set was excellent. The cream soup was so fragrant and delicious. They provided fresh salad. Tounge and rib meat were so tender and juicy. Rice and dessert were served in my standard. The servers were so attentive and professional. They frequently check whether I and my friends might have needed anything. We dined in a private room. Their private room requires minimum spending IDR 2,5 million, but if you do not meet it, you will be charged IDR 100K. Hence, it is quite worthy to book a private room to celebrate something privately. Their interior is so old-fashioned. It looks like a restaurant in 80's. The walls is painted white and the floor is covered by white tiles. Nevertheless, it was not an issues for us as long as they have great food and service.
For a fine dining restaurant and well known for it's expensive price, I must say that the decor was rather old, boring and bland. So in here, you pay for the food and not the ambiance. Before I start to talk about the food. I must say the service they provide was excellent in a way.
Why in a way? The waitresses were all very well trained when serving guest, they know how to lay the plates, clean them from your table, change your utensils and all that. To add on, they must have memorized the menu inside and out. Ask them anything and they'll provide an extensive recommendation. From your appetizer, soup, main course, dessert and even to your choice of red wine. But that however feels slightly 'cold' to me personally. Yes on the informative part, but 'No' on the warmth part.
As mentioned, the food served was excellent and even though on the expensive part. It's a steak restaurant you go during events and splurging it on occasions is definitely worth your penny. I love the 'Tenderloin Wagyu Steak' (of course, it's a steak house afterall). It's difficult to get a perfect order of your meat in any steak house and they nailed it here. The meat itself was tender and the butter herb on top was a compliment to it. The 'Sea Urchin & Scallops Spaghetti' has that subtle taste, slightly on the creamy side but wasn't overpowering. You basically taste the real ingredients inside which was the actual star of the dish. Ultimate question of ' Will I go back? '. Yes but keep it for a special family event or occasion.
