Melbourne Kitchen. I think this place would be the greatest restaurant that served Gyutandon in town.
First thing first, about the concept of its place. Melbourne Kitchen offered a looks of vintage style. There are many of "oldie" stuffs in there, such as Oldschool Telephone, Typewritter machine, etc. But the place seems very quiet, maybe need more promotion of any kind that thing to grab more visitor.
Second point, i was ordered Gyutandon Original with Medium level of spiciness. I thought the spicy level would be very punchy, but it was not. I was impressed with the Ox-tounge. Very tender, great seasoned and great texture indeed. I could feel a bit of sesame seed & blackpeper taste on my first bite. What a lovely taste. My Gyutandon was served with buttered rice and half-cooked mixed egg. What a great combination dish on the place.
Very recommended place be visited to satisfy your appetite. Nice vibes of the place and great dish indeed. Good job, Melbourne Kitchen.
