1. Hard Rock

The Hard Rock is probably one of our favourite live bar ever. Why? Because of the fact it holds multiple stages. If you are looking for a place to just chill, drink, and even have a little sing along, then Centerstage is the place to go. As the picture shows, it has a stage in the middle of the bar! That’s just awesome. Now, if you’re in the mood to just dine and while having the finest bands accompanying you, Hard Rock Cafe is the place to go. The Hard Rock Cafe often hold’s concerts for both international and local bands. UK metalcore giants such as Bring Me The Horizon has played in this very stage.

2. The Straw Hut

A haven for those into the less mainstream music. The Straw Hut has multiple bands playing genres of rock and roll, indie, reggae, ska, rockabilly, you name it! And if that’s not your cup of tea, they also have DJ sets playing dubstep, drum and bass, ragga, disco, and much more. Local rock legends such as Navicula often plays in this bar. As the name says, the bar is literally one big straw hut with a pool surrounding it. Overall, you can expect nothing but good vibes and good tunes in this place.

3. Apache Reggae Bar

What a Gwan? Let mi bring you da best music inna di Island. Yes, this bar is one of Bali’s most popular Reggae bar. Everything’s covered in red, yellow, and green, and Bob Marley Flags. The bands that play here play nothing but Reggae, whether its roots, dub, ragga, they got it. For all you Dreadlock Rastas out there, this is the place to be at whenever you’re in the Island. Jah!

4. Twice Bar

Gang Shouts, Stage dives, High fives, this is the place to go if you’re a lover for the heavier type of music. Twice Bar is owned by the drummer of Bali’s most famous Punk Rock Band, Superman Is Dead. On a daily basis, the bar has bands playing rockabilly, ska, and rock and roll. However, this bar is the most famous bar for hosting gigs for Hardcore, Metal, Punk, Post-Hardcore, and other heavy genres. Don’t mosh too hard!
