Bloemen Resto

My dad and I visited Bloemen to have some snacks while having some discussion on college life. The place is kind of nostalgic, for it brings us back some old memories of my grandma's house. The façade was decorated with maroon awnings and ferns. There was also dining area in the verandah, which reminded me of RMS Titanic's "Café Parisien", with its wicker chairs and tables. The indoor dining area was quite spacious, furnished with more-modern chairs and tables, as well as furniture from Dutch-colonial era. My dad and I, we both ordered chocolade mint, which exceeded my expectation. I thought it would be like a combination of blended chocolate and mint syrup; turned out they put real mint leaves into the drink (and we love it). The assorted fries was fine and the risoles was so creamy and tasty.
