7 Must Visit Restaurants in Padang Bai
Most of us consider Padang Bai as the gateway to the next heaven called the Gilis which located about 2.5 hours from Padang Bai harbour. This reputation is not entirely wrong, but that doesn't mean that Padang Bai is not a heaven itself. There are lots of things to explore around the area, including the need to satisfy your stomach.

Easily, you can just walk and wander around the harbour area and enter one of the warungs. But if you need something more, something delicious, something with good vibe or good view, this list is for you.

Somewhat fancy, Helix LXIV will provide you with its lush food and view. This restaurant is well-organized with impressive choices of food, from soups and salads to fresh local dishes. Definitely worth a visit.

Feeling more down to Earth-y? Six out of six people gave this simple local restaurant 5 stars on TripAdvisor. If you're looking for a nice local coffee and an omelette with cheap price before travelling to Lombok or Nusa Penida from Padangbai, Talk of The Town is for you.

Being part of OK Diver's resort, The Colonial restaurant comes with good food and cozy atmosphere. Breakfast or lunch, its great staff will serve you with their good attitude. And did I mention that this place also has a nice pool?

Unfortunately, you won't find any martinis here since the owner named the restaurant after her. Small and simple, Martini's is definitely one of the greatest warungs around the area. Cheap local food with friendly owner, what more do you need?

Its name suggests that Zen Inn is actually a hostel, but the cafe is definitely worth a visit. Zen Inn is one of those places who makes sure that tourists will stay in Padangbai even just for one night instead of traveling straight to the Gilis. One of their attractions: adult film posters on the wall.

Topi Inn is perfect for hippies for two reasons: the decoration and choices of vegetarian food. Topi Inn is great if you're looking for the backpacker feel and good food. The kitchen really do know what they're doing.

Known for one of the greatest local restaurants around the area, Padangbai Cafe gained the reputation by serving very fresh seafood. One of the most convenient reasons to visit this restaurant is the location, which is very close from the harbour. You don't have to worry anymore about missing your boat ride, in case you're hungry but in a big hurry.
