Emilie offers an artful blend of modern-yet-classically inspired French cuisine with emphasis on flavor and simplicity. The ambience is cloistered and intimate and the dishes uniformly excellent. Try Le Vivaneau Rouge, a seared red snapper with aubergine caviar & tomato pistou. Or, you know, anything else. Picking blindly off the menu is rarely so satisfying.
Beautifully presented French cuisine.Emilie has been a restaurant that I've long wanted to try. Although there was no dish that I felt was spectacular from our 5 course tasting menu; everything was well presented and tasted right in point. I would put the restaurant in a similar category as other high end French in Jakarta with ambience, service and food quality on par.
