My favorites are the burrata appetizer and pasta with Pink Sauce. One of the best pastas I've tasted in Jakarta. The flavours on those dishes are on point. However the menu is quite pricey, more of a fine dining option. Love the ambiance and location as well. Definitely will come back.
Had been wanting to come here for a while now. The ambience is quite nice. I do like the atmosphere of the place. However, was slightly disappointed with the food. I ordered the parma ham with rock melon and the Aglio olio with truffle oil and mushrooms. The parma ham was good but the pasta was a little dry. Prices are also extremely high.
Run by Marco, the nephew of Valentino himself. Went here a couple of days ago for the first time. Atmosphere was very cozy and the food was amazing! What really caught my attention was the Burrata was topped by Balsamic Caviar. That's right, "Caviar" made out of balsamic vinegar. Marco is a real game changer right here.
Jakarta's Italian fine dining has just had a watershed arrival ... Valentino! I had huge expectations for this restaurant once I heard it was opening in Jakarta as I was a fan of the Singapore venue. While interiors are not of the cozy home style in Singapore and more of the high end nature the food is every bit as good. First off the bread they give at the beginning it is simply delicious. Hot, toasted and soft in the middle - it set the rest of the meal up for perfectly. We ordered the burrata, calamari, crab pasta, osso bucco and finished with the tiramisu. I would recommend everyone of those dishes especially the crab and the burrata. My only regret is that I didn't also try the pasta. If you're hungry for great Italian be sure to try Valentino out. However be prepared to pay Singapore prices!!
